Mutual Commitment.

To ensure the safety of every traveler and the conservation of Uvita's vulnerable ecosystems, we operate under strict yet fair guidelines.

By booking or participating in any tour, activity, or service offered by Osa Conquest, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted the following Terms and Conditions:

• Liability: Osa Conquest is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, thefts, loss of personal belongings, delays, or damages occurring during tours or activities.

• Natural Environment & Unforeseen Events: Tours take place in natural and protected areas; therefore, inherent risks exist. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, and refunds do not apply in the event of not spotting animals.

• Medical Conditions: Clients must inform the company in advance of any medical conditions, disabilities, pregnancies, or physical limitations. Staff can only provide basic first aid and are not medical professionals.

• Insurance: Osa Conquest carries the mandatory insurance policies required by Costa Rican law. Clients are strongly recommended to purchase additional personal travel or medical insurance.

• Itinerary Changes: Itineraries are subject to modifications due to weather conditions, safety concerns, environmental protection, or operational requirements.

• Personal Belongings: Clients are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings at all times.

• Rules & Safety: All clients must follow safety instructions provided by guides and captains. Alcohol consumption, smoking, illegal substances, and pets are strictly prohibited.

• Restrictions: Tours are not recommended for infants under one year old. Pregnant women participate at their own risk.

• Child Rates: All children over 11 years old pay the regular adult rate. Children aged 4 to 10 qualify for the child rate. Children under 3 years old travel free.

• Transportation: Ground transportation is not included in all our tours.

• More than 24 hours in advance: 50% refund. National Park entrance fees are non-refundable.

• Less than 24 hours / No-show: No refund.

Special Tours (Caño Island, Corcovado, Fishing, Mangroves)

• More than 7 days in advance: 80% refund.

• 4 to 7 days in advance: 50% refund.

• Less than 3 days in advance: No refund.

All reservations must be paid in full to be confirmed.

By booking a tour, clients confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
